Chicken do pyaza is a popular chicken recipe. It is also known as murgh do pyaza.
Preparation time: 30 minutes
Cooking time: 25 minutes
Chicken : 800 gm
Groundnut Oil as required(for deep fry)
Ghee : 150 gm
Onions : 400 gm/ 2⅓ cups
Sunflower Seeds : 20 gm/ 2 Tbs
Cashewnuts : 50 gm/ ⅓ cups
Garlic Paste : 30gm/ 5 tsp
Ginger Paste : 30gm/ 5 tsp
Salt to taste
Turmeric : 5 gm/ 1 tsp
Garam Masala : 10 gm/ 2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder : 5 gm/ 1 tsp
Coriander : 20 gm/ ⅓ cup
Mint : 20 gm/ ⅓ cup
Step:1 Clean and remove the whole chicken skin and cut into medium pieces.
Step:2 Clean and wash, all the vegetables. Peel and chop onions. Chop coriander and mint.
Step:3 Heat oil in a kadhai and deep fry sunflower seeds and cashewnuts until light brown.
method:1 Heat ghee in a handi ,add onions and saute over medium heat until golden brown.
method:2 Add the ginger and garlic pastes, red chillies and turmeric are dissolved in 60ml/4 cup of water and stir for a minute.
method:3 Sometime after add chicken, stir, add water (approx 600ml/2½ cups), bring to a boil and simmer until tender. then adjust the seasoning .
method:4 Sprinkle garam masala, coriander and mint, stir, add sunflower seeds and cashewnuts. bring to a boil.
finale : Ready your chicken do pyaza and serve with accompaniments.
Remove to a dish and serve with rice or other your choice of food.
