Chicken tikka grill is a chicken dish. It is one of the most popular chicken starter in Cuisine.The word tikka is origin comes from the Turkish word Tike, its meaning “bits” and the Azerbaijani word Tikə,its meaning “pieces”.
Preparation time: 4 hours
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Chicken : 800gm
Garlic paste: 40gm/ 6¾ tsp
Ginger paste : 40gm/ 6¾ tsp
Salt to taste
Cumin powder : 3g/ ½ tsp
Red Chilli powder : 3g/ ½ tsp
Turmeric powder : 3g/ ½ tsp
White Pepper powder : 3g/ ½ tsp
Butter as to required
Gramflour(besan) : 30gm / 2 Tbs
Yoghurt(curd) : 40gm/ 6 tsp
Lemon juice : 20gm/ 2 Tbs
Oil : 75ml/5 Tbs
Step:1 Clean, remove and debone the chicken skin.
Step:2 Some time later, Cut the chicken.
Step:3 Take the whisk yoghurt (curd) in a large bowl,add the garlic paste,
ginger paste,salt,cumin powder,white pepper powder,red chilli powder,
turmeric powder,gramflour,lemon juice,oil,butter and mix well.Rub the chicken pieces
with this mixture and Keep aside for 3-4 hours.
Step:4 The oven,Pre-heat to 350° F.
Step:5 Skewer the marinated rikka at least 1 inch apart.
and Keep a tray underneath collect the drippings.
Method:1 Roast in a moderately hot randoor for approximately 6 minutes.
Method:2 again roast in a charcoal grill for about 6-7 minutes.
Method:3 again roast the tikka in a pre-heated oven for approximately 8-10 minutes.
and Make sure that the chicken does not touch the sides or the bottom of the oven.
